We have started our sustainability journey, and since our founding in 2011 we have taken significant steps to understand our social and environmental impacts. We know we still have a lot of work ahead of us, but here are some of the things we have done so far.
99% of the global electricity consumption in our DW offices, warehouses and retail stores comes from renewable sources like wind and solar power.
Since the end of 2019, 100% of material used to make our product gift boxes comes from FSC certified forests.
We launched an e-learning tool to all our direct suppliers that helps educate factory workers and management on worker’s rights and responsibilities, so far more than 70% of workers have participated in the training.
Our sustainability strategy covers four long-term goals, where we believe we can make the greatest contributions. These goals are very ambitious, but we believe it’s the only way to achieve the change needed to take us where we want to be in 2030.
Aim for all of our materials to be renewable or recyclable.
Ensure fair working conditions throughout our full supply chain.
Offer the best Quality-Price-Ratio in our industry.
Have a net positive environmental impact.
Our yearly Sustainability Report is both a commitment and a journey to accelerate our efforts in offering sustainable solutions to our customers.
