Using a measuring tape is the best and most accurate method to determine your ring size. For the best results, make sure to give enough space to accommodate your knuckle. Keep in mind that your fingers vary in size during the day depending on several factors, like temperature and humidity. Therefore, it is recommended to measure your finger at the end of the day, when it is likely the largest. Also, the same finger might differ in ring size for your left and right hand, make sure to measure the finger that you are planning to wear the ring on.

Make a short cut on the dotted line. Make sure not to cut all the way through, just enough to leave a hole in the paper. To make it easier you can fold the paper in half and cut on the dotted line.
step 5: Pull the thinner end through the hole
Pull the thinner end of the cut-out ruler through the hole in the paper, so you create a loop with the paper. Make sure that you have the number on the outside so you can read your size.
step 6: Set the paper loop on your finger and tighten it up
Set the paper loop on your finger, close to your knuckle or where you want the ring to sit. Tighten the loop by pulling the thinner paper end until you feel that it's the correct ring size. You find the ring size number printed on the paper that comes out of the loop. The correct ring size number is the number printed on the line closest to the paper cut hole.
Step 7: Compare the size number with the ring size on the printed pdf
Compare the printed size number on the cut-out ruler with the ring size on the printed pdf. You find the ring size listed under the circles with the printed size numbers inside.
